Finnish born artist and printed textile designer, Tea Lautala Graham is based in Edinburgh at the Coburg House Art Studios in Leith.
Having graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2002 and completed her Postgraduate Diploma, Tea initially moved to London for work as a textile designer in fashion.
During her 19 year career in the industry, Tea’s innovative print designs have been bought and commissioned by international fashion brands including Emporio Armani, Etro, Escada, Marc Cain, Liberty, Zimmerman, Ted Baker and Anthropologie.
In parallel with her textile work she has expanded her skills in drawing & painting, using a combination of watercolours, gouache and pastels with mixed media to create beautiful and colourful artworks.
Always informed by her Finnish roots and upbringing, she loves to capture the beauty of nature and objects around her, creating art work to bring joy to the everyday with her vibrant use of colour and highly personal painting style.
It is important to me to deliver beautifully designed art work that is environmentally responsible.
All my cards are printed on recycled card and I use recycled envelopes.
The cellophane bags used to protect the art work and cards are compostable.
I am committed to using local, ethical and environmentally friendly options in all aspects of my business.
